Recipe// Mini leftover pies

Leftovers.. it's sometimes difficult to know what to do with them, but sometimes with a few ingredients you can actually whip up something for yourself & your family that's right on budget & delicious!

What I used:

Stock: I made myself from the leftover pork & lamb bones, with meat on them.
Meat: Cooked & leftovers from creating the stock.
Apple,onions ( I only used 1 in the end )
shortcrust pastry sheet.

I placed a circle of pastry in the bottom, chopped small the apple & onion & placed inside.

I tore up the meat into smaller pieces & placed inside,

I then popped some of the stock on top, seasoned with a little salt & sealed the top with the pastry lid.

I had some spare pastry, so instead of throwing it out I made mini pastries for A, ( please note A's did NOT contain salt) 

I cooked in the oven for 30-40 mins and this is the result, It was very tasty especially with the homemade stock, you can use shop brought stock if you prefer of course.

It went with a few roast potatoes, & winter veg.

A liked it a little & that was definitely a bonus for me knowing he tried & ate a little.
