Recipe// Egg & Bacon Breakfast Pies




Sometimes breakfast on the go is the only way you'll get breakfast.. so this is for those of us who only eat it whilst running around after everyone else!.



Egg & Bacon Breakfast Pies.



You will need:

shallow muffin pan.
x1 ready roll puff pasty sheet.
olive oil
x2 slices back bacon, ( with fat removed )
x1 small onion 
x2 eggs
1/4 cup Milk
pinch salt.
pinch black pepper
chives.


The great thing about these pies are you can leave ingredients out or substitute them.
I don't make glossy magazine quality food, I love making food from the heart, that's yummy & low budget also.



1. preheat oven to 180c Greasing x6 holes using olive oil.

2. cutting out x6 circle shapes pop them in the muffin tin pricking them with a fork a few times each. pour your baking beans into each space ( I don't have baking beans so I used rice, It helped, but I recommend you get baking beans haha)

3. Bake for 15 mins on the bottom shelf, afterwards tip out baking beans and set aside.


4.add oil to frying pan & cook the diced back bacon, afterwards adding to a mixing bowl.

5. chop onion then place in food processor turning it into an oniony paste, then add this to the bacon.


6. mix the eggs,milk, salt & pepper to another bowl and mix well, pour in the bacon mixture & add chives. Stir well.

7. pour mixture evenly into each pastry case, and bake for further 20 mins.

8. Allow to completely cool before lifting pies out of tin.
