The Babies first Christmas post!

I love Christmas, although we don't celebrate the religious part, we celebrate time with our families & friends with plenty of laughter, great food & kind gift giving.

I did a post a few days back about Christmas gift ideas, you can read it by clicking here, & the most special part of Christmas is having a new baby around! I remember Als first Christmas he was only just a month old, & everything was so special, even though we were tired! haha

Here's my list of gift idea's especially for the babies!

First Is the ELC Discovery Cylinder  from 6 months old.

It's a beautiful sensory toy for any baby, with each shape with a different sensory feature!, we brought this for Al last year & he loved his, & still wont let me put it in storage as he's outgrown it.

best of all it's all squishy & safe for little hands who might be discovering picking things up and dropping them again.

second is this gorgeously illustrated Usborne baby's very first touch & feel lift the flap book From 6 months.

babies are learning constantly from the environment around them, & are fascinated by touch, which makes these sort of books a perfect gift for Christmas!

thirdly is a lovely shape sorting bus in Red from 6 months.

features Chunky shapes, for easy grip for your little one(s)  which are great for your baby's fine motor skills, hand eye coordination & problem solving.
not to mention it's lovely colours!

Fourthly is an adorable Blossom Farm Woolly Lamb Snuggle playmat which looks so soft a snuggly I wish they made them in adult sizes! haha

The arches are completely detachable so you can use it well into them learning to sit up & eventually crawl off!
& has 5 sweet detachable toys, because you just know they'll get sucked, chewed & somehow food on them!

Lastly is this exciting looking light & sounds buggy driver in red  an important buy for any pushchair/buggy/pram is a toy, keeping the little ones occupied is always a good idea! & with this buggy driver they'll be plenty to do!

So with the gifts sorted, what activities can you do this Christmas with baby?

  • Cornflower with water & add food colouring to keep it festive
  • salt dough decorations
  • cutting Christmas shapes out of card & painting them.

& then there's in my opinion the BEST part of Christmas, the food!
